just wondered if anyone has tried this; putting a newer itr wing on a da. and if so can i see pix?
ive seen it the other day…it was the most retarded thing i have ever seen
i saw a guy on here i think his name is digital horizon with a wing that looks similar and it didnt look to bad just wondered how a real type r wing would look.
The type R wing doesnt fit well… if you want a bigger wing like that… the Hiro one is similar but made for our cars…

And i heard somewhere on the site… (search) that they’re re-making them soon under a different company name…

Availability is VERY limited, and these are special release, so don’t bother lowballing (just a general disclaimer, not to anyone in particular).
thank you, i love that pic so dam much its been my desktop for months now. the only thing is i want to see some more pix of the spoiler from up close side and angled views idk if its your car but if it is good job. my plans are to make a champ white 93 grs into a type r outside and inside.
thanks for the pix, here is my only gripe about that wing now that i look at more side pix it just like sticks out more then im looking for i want one that looks like the real itr wing thanks for the pix i might change my mind or go with it anyway, is the real itr wing just to wide or what? i dont understand why id doesnt fit or look good i cant imagine im the only person that thinks it might look goo d especially sence DH’s wing looks so pimp from behind.
another little thing that i was thinking was to trace the cut out from the left exhaust cutout. and cut it off the right side mold the piece to the left side and have the exhaust the same as yours but with a spot for it in the bumper. dont know if anyone has tried this either.
oh ya and what rear skirt is that?
This car isn’t mine, its a good friend’s car. You might try to email him with some questions. He’s usually pretty helpful, but lately he’s been really busy so he might not be able to help as much as he usually is willing to.
As for the spoiler, it looks the way it does due to function. The typeR spoiler is actually a functional aerodynamic device, and the Hiro spoiler (which was actually developed years before the typeR was) is a more dedicated race-type aerodynamic device as opposed to the typeR wing, which still had a small portion of street car engineering affecting design. With a Hiro spoiler, you will get much more effectiveness than with the DC2 ITR spoiler.
yes i know about the effectiveness of it compaired to the dc2 one.i just wont be doing much racing in my teggy other then the occasinal street race. how knows i might go with it, i sent him a email so well see if he is still selling them when i get the new db. probably in about 2 months. thanks for the help
No problem, no decision is the wrong one as long as its your own.
that statement isnt 100% accurate… Hence why we have the darwin awards… :giggle:
The rear skirt he has are 94-95 Accord rear lips. I have that exact same thing on my DA.
wheres a good place to get them?
Honda dealer.
Crackerteg do the rear skirts just fit right onto 90-91 bumper?
No, there is a bit of modification required to make them fit.
It was messing with a heat gun and a lot of cursing to get it right.
Damn im ganna search here in a sec but if not someone should write up a forum on how to do it.
