Upgrading Injectors/Fuel Pump

I’m looking to put a turbo on my car in about two months and I was going to prep my engine to handle it.

One of the upgrades is the fuel pump and injectors. Will I be damaging my motor for the two months I’ll be driving it without the turbo if I install them now? I only drive about 20 miles a day with the car, if that.

I’m getting a Walbro pump and 580cc injectors.

the pump wont hurt anything, but the car probably wont run with those injectors that size, IF by some chance it did it would run like shit cause it would be flooding out. and depending on the injector you might have to do some minor rewiring (resistor box, etc.)

Yeah just wait and install them when you install the turbo. What will you be using for tuning?

Hondata S300.

If you are prepping the engine, might as well get the hondata s300 now and just run the 580cc’s.

Yah but that means I’d have to get it tuned for just the injectors and have it tuned again for when the turbo goes on and it’s like 600 bucks for the dyno. I’ll just put the injectors in when I do the whole turbo.
