if i did this without the heatgun, once you break the metal guard off how do you get it out of the light itself? Just bend or twist it till it comes out?
nevermind i got both of them out, and it makes a big difference
a easier way instead of just bending it to break the plastic things, take your flathead screwdriver and a small hammer and place the driver on the edge of the metal right at the base of the plastic screw things and hit the top of the driver a few times and it breaks it right off relativley easy, then just bend it with a set of pliers till it comes out
