using a 90-91 bumper on a 93 integra

Quick question, can I easily swap an older bumper with no modifications on a 1993 integra? I can get a 90-91 bumper for $45 vs $115 for the 92-93. I still have left over paint when I painted the car so that is no big deal. I lowered the car about 2" and I cracked my new one this winter. I would rather spend 45 a year on a new bumper than 115 if I crack it again next winter. Do the 92-93 look that much better? Thanks for any help and suggestions.

IMO, the 92-93 look a lot better. to awnser your question, yes it is a bolt on affair as long as you get the coresponding bumper blocks that they mount to

If you use the 91 I would get some type of rear lip. People have made their own (including myself) but without one the 92-93 definitely looks better IMO. With a rear lip its all good.

They are talking about the front bumper not the rear one lol.

I will have to look at the differences and then decide. It is just weird that the older front bumper is more than half the cost, not that big of deal. thanks for the input

One thing to consider is the marker lights. They are different between the years and will not swap. I believe the electrical connectors are the same though.

92 93 looks nicer…
thats how i have on my 91…

91 front bumper with OEM optional lip looks best. Otherwise the 92 bumper looks waaaaay better than the stock 91…Thats probably why the price difference.

i went from a 91 to a 92 bumper…loved it with the type r lip.

i traded my 92 for a 91 only because i like the lip selection for 91’s. you have the oem optional(real or replica),mugen(real or replica), old school hiro. i think the 92 bumper is always smiling at you.

92-93 looks better, imo. but check my for sale thread for my 92 bumper i have for sale. you are local so i will hook you up. hit me up.
