using a ls distributor on a b16 head

i know you can use the ls dis. on the b16 head you just have to lop off a leg. my question is i here it screws the ignition timing up is this true? and is there a way to adjust it to close to normal?

You can properly set the ignition timing. If you couldn’t then people wouldn’t be able to do this mod.

i gotcha its just ive seen people with it and they complain that it never runs right like the ignition timing is always off or something.

You might not have the same range of adjustment as stock, but really you don’t need that much. If you’re needing to advance/retard the timing that much then you probably have other problems that need to be worked out
