I am proud to announce that the meet will be taking place at Hybrid Garage. They are going to be doing a Dyno Day and Cookout to go alongside our meet. They were looking at having a Dyno Day around mid-september and decided to jump onboard for the meet. They have an in-house dyno and will be offering Power Pulls at a reasonable price.

[SIZE=“4”]GENERAL PERFORMANCE TUNING WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE FOR THAT DAY, AS THERE WILL BE OVER 100 PEOPLE ATTENDING. SO TO BE FAIR, IT WILL BE STRICTLY POWER PULLS[/SIZE]

For those interested in dyno time, this applies to you:
$50 for 3 pulls. I’m not 100% sure if they will be providing printouts for verification etc., but i’ll let everyone know about that next time I talk with them.

i can supply some food for it, but if i have to supply all the food, i’d appreciate some small donations at the meet to help me cover the cost of food/drink. as this will be a lengthy drive for most who would potentially attend, i would like to keep it alcohol free, both to keep it family friendly, and to keep anyone out of trouble or getting hurt.

so far, the guys on other sites are leaning towards fredericksburg, va. it seems to be a comfortable medium for the ones that have spoken up about it on other forums.

lets have a good G2IC turnout as well, I’m trying to get this to be a multi-forum meet.

get your ish fixed and come to this meet. try and get in touch with Tim and see if he wants to come down for it. any other MD peeps you can get in touch with, see if we can make it a good meet.

as of this posting, we have 12 people who say they are definitely coming, and 6 others who are “up in the air” so that makes about 18 people. all of 2 from this site :frowning:

who is really familiar with the fredericksburg area? we need a good public spot so we can have a BBQ. if we can’t get a BBQ going, then we could meet up at a mall or something, hang out for a bit, do some pics etc., and then just go out to eat.

where is a good place in Freddyburg to have this thing? a public park would be official, so we could do a BBQ etc. if not a park or something, where’s a good mall that could hold up to 20 cars (maybe more at this point) because the list is growing pretty rapidly.

the location needs to be “lowered car friendly”, my car and a few others are borderline DUMPED on the ground, so no nasty inclines etc. lol. speed-bumps ftl.
