Vacuum Lines

Is it okay to replace the aluminum parts of the vacuum lines on the intake manifold? Mine are all tarnished and I think it would look better to remove them. If so, do the lines have to be the same length as the original lines, or can they be shorter?

Thanks,
Miles

Yes. Length shouldn’t matter. Make sure you use vacuum tubing and not generic tubing which may collapse under vacuum.

When I had my Audi, I bought either this or this for my BPV. would either of these be okay?

EDIT:
I purchased the second one made by forge

Those are more than adequate for the job.
