VAFC II - obd-0 install diagram needed

VAFC II in a '90
engine - b16a

apexi-usa.com is useless for a obd-0 with a vafc II

need to find out which wires to splice into, and which wires to cut & run through the vafc II

will the install guide for the first vafc work with obd-0 harness?

thanks

TTT Heres a Site that will help you www.BoomSlang.us
Peace Chris A Town

ive purchased one from them before, and now im not converting to obd-1, so im trying to wire it up to my obd-0 myself…

boomslang does not have diagrams up to help me though…

thanks anyways…

pin A-8 VTEC solenoid signal
pin A-15 IG power (two red wires)
pin A-16 ground (one brown, one black wire)
pin b-5 VTM signal
pin b-15 rpm
pin c-7 throttle signal
pin c-11 pressure signal (map sensor)

on the VTEC solenoid signal-
wire coming from engine harness will be cut. wire coming from harness goes to pink wire of VAFC harness. wire going to ECU Plug (whats left of being cut) goes to purple wire of VAFC harness.

pressure signal (map sensor)-
wire coming from engine harness will be cut. wire coming from harness goes to white wire of VAFC harness. wire going to ECU plug will go to yellow wire of VAFC harness

VTM-
wire from engine harness will be cut. this time you will be using the wire from the ECU plug only. and it connects to blue wire of VAFC harness. the other part of wire is unused just tape it or use connectors incase you need to connect your engine harness for some reason.

power wire-
you will need to splice into or use t-connectors. the two red wires from the VAFC harness go to the one power wire of engine harness. it says its better to stager them out and not to wire together.

ground-
its basically the same as above but you have to use the black wire from the VAFC harness farther away from the ecu. the brown wire from the VAFC harness closer to the ECU. once again do not wire them together.

rpm-
is the Green wire on the VAFC harness just tap into wire for B15. you do not need to cut this wire just splice into or use connectors

throttle signal
this is the gray wire on the VAFC harness just tap into the engine harness pin c-7

and this is it you do not use the orange wire or the light blue wire. those are for i-vtec.
the list i provide came from my vafc2 wiring diagram book. and is for 89.4-93.5 integra with b16a

i just installed mine tonight in my 92 GS-R so the wiring pinouts was a lil different. hope this helps

in addition it is better if you use connectors instead of just cutting wires and taping them together. just make it to where if you need to take the VAFC out for some reason all you have to do is plug your cut harness back with the wires going to the plug
