Ok…I’ve recently gotten my head cleaned/valve job and all that stuff…
put the head on yesterday got it all put together…adjusted the valves…and when I started the car…it sounds like the valves are out of adjustment.
I re adjusted the valves and it still sounds the same.
anyone have any idea’s??
was your engine cold or hot? i adj. mine cold once and they ended up being to tight when it warmed up…
cold…according to the manual and 2 ppl I’ve talked to the engine needs to be cold to adjust the valves
Tom, reead over thee teeg tips…marc has a suggestion about a screew driver trick. You aree prollly doing it not at full BTDC.

Also if they still stay loud no matter what, try lessening the clearance.
