Valve Covers

hey, just wondering about these valve covers here, did most of you ppl sandblast them? with like a fine grit sand? im doing this next week, and going to be painting it either white, or a semi gloss black, not really sure yet. maybe some imput or opinions will help. thanks.

i dont think thats a drawing, its just a photoshop effect

Alot of people just use aircraft stripper to get the old paint/powdercoat off

this is my buddys first attempt with custom airbrushing. Came out nice.

^^ lol, turned out pretty good, not my kinda thing, but looks good, i sandblasted mine today, ill have paint on it by tomorrow, with pics.

nothing special, although i’m going to strip it and airbrush it eventually

Yeah that’s a sweet color… looks graphite to me…:rockon:

heres mine…coats went as follows.

auto primer
duplicolor ground coat
duplicolor metal speks
duplicolor metalcast purple
auto clear…

also shaved the D & C in DOHC…so now its reads OH VTEC, still need to sand down the lettering.
