Very odd electrical problem.....

I tried searching to see if somebody ever had this problem but the only one i found didn’t find a solution…

Problem:

  • when the car is running, my climate control does not work and the radio shuts off.

  • when the ignition is in the on position, the radio works fine, only when i start the car is when it shuts off and the climate control does not work.

  • all the fuses are fine.

    i don’t know how these 2 can be related to each other, and i don’t know where to start looking…

any help would be apreciated, thanks.

When you say "my climate control does not work do you mean the controls themselves or the blower motor?

Did you check your main accessory fuse, located on upper right side of under dash fuse box, under plastic clip?
Make sure the screws securing the fuse are tight.

The other thing to check for is a grounding problem.
When one circuit, [ign.] has an effect on a seemingly unrelated circuit, [radio acc.] it is almost always because of a grounding issue, [dash harness grounds]. 94

Thank you bro, the blower itself doesn’t work, but i’ll check those, but when the car is running sometimes the radio and the blower work like there is a short somewhere… thank you…
