very weird:installed jdm lights. now one bulb burns out at a time within couple days

this is my 6th integra, and 4th pair of jdm lights i install/wire. ive never had this problem. hope to figure it out asap. i got a vegas trip this weekend.

when my headlights came in the mail, (used, from the east coast) i installed them same day. only to find out the drivers side bulb was out. the low filament was broken. but the high was good. ( i never touched the bulb or anything) i also noticed these bulbs are yellow. and look kinda like the foglight. which i dont like. so i assumed i just gotta buy new bulbs, which sucks. and i dint even know what size or anything. my friend pointed me to autobacs, a store that carries arctic white h4h bulbs. i swapped em in. only to have the same bulb on the passenger side go out AGAIN. :hmm:

So, now im thinking… maybe the guy that sold em to me sent them to me with working bulbs, and i just blew them out the FIRST time after install, and AGAIN, with these new ones. or maybe not? i cannot remember if my gf touched the bulbs or not… or if i got an electrical problem… so i thought i’d just throw in the yellow h4h bulbs that they came with. but i found out the new bulb is shattered! broken this time. :argh: now im ont sure if i broke it just then as i tried putting back the old yellow one for now, or if it popped, or vibration. anyways…couple days later, the RIGHT bulb goes out. (so now both new h4h bulbs i bought last week are gone.) that bulb has the low filament broken as well. just like the yellow driver’s side bulb was. now im driving with only the drivers side light on, with the yellow bulbs the headlights came with.

i dnt know where to start. the grounds, etc look good.

when i bought this DA, owner said he put in the brighter bulbs. on the USDM headlights. im not sure if this means he did a conversion. so we can keep this in mind. and i can ask him, or find out somehow, if it even matters. if anyone else has an idea, please let me know so i can troubleshoot this. thanks
