ok my car is making noise in the driverside, when I start up the car, and then if I rev it, it makes like this grinding/ vibrating noise like if you can hear electriciy moving or so like Raiden throwing electricity at you lol. and I just replaced the axle 2 times already with remanufactured ones from autozone. could it be the water pump or alternator going out. this also happens while I drive, it does not smooth down at all. any help please.
or could it be a bad wheel bearing:think:
if your saying it does it when you rev it, then i dont think it would be a wheel bearing because it would have to be moving. have you tried popping the hood and pinpointing where the noise is coming from?
yeah, I pop opened the hood and had the engine running, I got me a plastic pipe to hear if the alternator or waterpump was going bad, but didn’t hear nothing on the alternator, the waterpump can’t hear because the timing belt cover shield is still on. also when I drive it, when I put it in neutral, it still rattles. it can’t be my exhaust, its coming from the like the driverside wheel area, it like shakes my whole dash too. I also took off the downpipe to put a new oem honda oilpan gasket, could that also be it. I know I tightned up them 3 bolts good. I think.
if you say it sounds like a grinding type noise it could possibly be the water pump going bad. when i first got my latest da i have now it would make a grinding type noise, it turned out to be the bearing for the ac was bad.
I think its more of a vibrating/rattle noise, cause when I rev. It rattles where the driverside area, from the fender area to the dash board. How does a water pump bearing sound like? does it sound like metal grinding, does it shake and rattle like the dash and the fender area, is it loud where you can hear it while driving.
the drivers side rear sounds like a damn monster truck tire, sounds like a loud hum or vibrating sound, its getting worse, has anyone gone through this, and how can i fix it!!! sorry maybe the wrong thread, not engine area
water pump and tensioner bearing…
im prety sure it’s the water pump…if water is leaking under the plastic covers of the timing belt…it happed to me already…might as well change your timming belt, tensioner bearing and water pump…
