this video is not mine but my car does the exact same thing …its driving me crazy what could it be? i just swapped a 91 b18a1 into my 93 da obd1 hooked everything up and ive been having problems since. The b18b1 that i had in there ran fine but the oil pump was going out so i pulled the motor to give it a full rebuild… and when i am driving it seems to just loose power at
5k any answers will be greatly appreciated :slight_smile:

Did the motor do this when you first swapped it in? You say it cuts out after 5K but in the video, that car didn’t really even start up… Did you swap intake manifolds from the obd1 motor to the obd-0 motor or swap ecu’s? Give us a little more info on exactly what you did to the car…

yea i put all the obd1 stuff onto the obd0 motor…and im not throwing any CEL’s at all
