i have to agree…and if YOUR style changes w/ the times, then change it…we just all hope its not tacky mods that you end up doing
Just don’t wanna go too big with the wheels and or too extreme of a stretch without first seeing some examples. I have 16’s on there now, and I’m not sure its too good of an idea to go any bigger, but I WANT the tucked look while sitting low. I’m having a hard time tucking my wheels and it not being too low to drive without scraping over EVERYTHING… I don’t mind the occasional speed bump, but I can’t even fit the jack under it anymore. If 17’s would solve my problem, then so be it, but I like the way 15’s look a lot better. I guess what is bothering me is that the deep dish look could become dated, having been around the Harley seen for a while, I’ve seen quite a few looks come in real hard then fall off just as quickly. Sometimes it costs thousands to find out what you ultimately are happy with, and I’m just trying to do a little research before dumping another $1k-$2k on rims and suspension just to find them a thing of the past in no time flat leaving my car just simply another “sign of the times” . Also, I’ve been thinking of tucking some flat faced wheels (for lack of knowing what they are called) saw some on a jetta the other day and it looks good rollin…
Guess I really just don’t know what I want other than something that looks nice without being all tacky.
If you’re building a car to fit in with what is ‘cool’, you’re doing it wrong.
Build something YOU want… not what HondaTuning/FatLace/Superstreet/whoever says is currently ‘cool’.
