god forbid you were unoriginal and wanted to spend more money to make less power. i hate all those unoriginal people going with turbo. damn them to hell.
I don’t care if you’re looking for someone ELSE I’m gonna answer. You can do it without removing ABS if you don’t mind using a non aftercooled kit or possibly use a non Vortech barrel shaped water to air intercooler. See the pictures below and you’ll see it can be done without an aftercooler for certain.
PWR makes Water to Air barrel intercoolers, they’re not cheap but neither is Vortech’s Intercoolers. I’m not saying these will fit but it is worth checking the clearances. If your buddy wants to try a Vortech kit you should get both the archived posts in the G2IC Archive.
your who I’ve been looking for to answer these since you have one, how is the fitment of the aftercooler? did you have to re-route any of the hoses underneith it and another thing, to use one the intercoolers in the pic he would need to have those modified or just 45 degree hoses to connect them?
my friends G2 has no AC lines, no PS, does have ABS, and it’s B17, besides the kit what else did you have to buy in order for it to work? I.E. fuel pump, injectors, stuff like that, thanks Tony
