I want your imput on a motor swap ar a non vtec build up. My engine kms are getting high and I want a new motor or rebuild the current one. What are your thoughts/imputs? I really want that jdm b16 from Loc’s site. or I wonder if I should just go with a gude package. Keep in mind that I want a daily driver don’t want ls/vtec.

Daily car? You might just want to find a B18 bottom block that doesn’t have many miles and refresh the head you have now and use that. I thought about the same thing myself but I went with the B16a w/ ITR internals route.
In that case b16a would just me the best thing for you…You can make one fairly fast with just basic bolt-ons…If your not into all out speed or racing and just want something kindof fast and daily driver then i would suggest the b16a setup…The only problem will come when you want to smog it…
