I created the following thread in the Parts For Sale or Trade (by members in Canada and regions beyond).

AUG 23:

  • Jdm_teg91 agreed to trade me a set of JDM Side moldings for my Rear Sun Visor. He was going to buy them from http://www.ICBmotorsport.com and have them ship them to my address.

  • We exchanged Shipping information and phone numbers.

AUG 25:

  • I shipped my OEM Rear Sun Visor to Jdm_teg91.

  • www.fedex.ca - TRACKING: 063701800008614

SEP 1:

  • Jdm_teg91 received the Sun Visor and called me to say how good of shape it was in and how to install it.

SEP 2:

  • I emailed asking for tracking information or proof of shipment for the JDM Side moldings. I also called him and left a message along with my phone number.

SEP 6:

  • Jdm_teg91 called and told me that he is working on getting me some proof of shipment.

  • He emailed me a PayPal Transaction ID which doesn’t provide me with any proof of purchase from the store or shipping information.

SEP 12:

  • I emailed asking for tracking information or proof of shipment for the JDM Side moldings. I also called him and left a message.

SEP 26:

  • I emailed asking for tracking information or proof of shipment for the JDM Side moldings. I called him and left a message. He called me back and told me that the store will be able to do a claim through the mail service provider in one more week. He would provide me with a receipt from the store he made the purchase from.

Oct 11:

  • After no followups since last month I emailed asking for tracking information or proof of shipment for the JDM Side moldings. I also called him and left a another message.

OCT13:

  • Jdm_teg91 called me and provided me with the number and the name of the store he bought the JDM Side moldings from. They should have already arrived but I still haven’t seen anything.

SUMMARY:
Jdm_teg91 received my rare OEM Sun Visor in less than a week and a half and I’m still waiting after 8 weeks for proof that he even shipped the JDM Side Moldings.

I have nothing against Jdm_teg91, he seems like a good guy when I talked with him on the phone. I’d just like to know what’s going on with the JDM Side Moldings.

Damn man I hope u get ur moldings. Hate seeing a good guy get ripped off like this. Dont’ deserve it.

Hopefully there’s an legit reason why it’s taken so long. He even had a trader rating too :confused: Scammers don’t deserve to live :tsk:

Finally heard from customs and its been held up there and should be released within 3-5 weeks!!! :frowning: WTH :gunright:

did he end up buying from ICB motorsport? just curious.

Yes. He bought them from ICB Motorsport and they shipped them, but customs put it aside due to lack of information on the package.

i’m personal friends with the owner of ICB, he’s a really good guy who has gone out of his way for me quite a few times. but we had talked a while back about being a pain to ship to canada, and why he prefers not to. i hope that you get your product soon and in good condition.

i dealt with the seller in person… he seems like a cool guy… maybe he just kinda disappeared… i traded my Tein SS’s and the deal was completely straightforward…

I think due to the shipping over the boarder and that IBC couldn’t supply Jdm_teg91 with tracking is what caused the confusion.

I just wanted to get proof of shipment since I’ve been waiting months for an item. I talked with IBC on the phone the other day and they were really nice and helpful.

Jdm_teg91 also did his part in getting the order shipped and I don’t have any complaints. Hopefully the item arrives from customs soon :cross:

IF you’re looking local try Zensport, they’re one of the local performance shops that are VERY reputable. They’re not going to jack you around.

JDM moldings arrived in mint condition :slight_smile: Only took a couple of months but that’s due to customs :whip:
