my DA is OBD0 and im trying to install the walbro fuel pump. Anyone know if i have to splice the wires for the +/- connections? or is it suppose to be all plug n play? he might have given me the wrong one. Also when i try to mount the pump onto the metal bracket thing, it wont sit snug, im scared that its going to pop off when im driving.
I think I had to splice the wires but that’s normal a lot of times. Just make sure to make it a good connection. Also I had to bend the bottom of the bracket up to make the pump fit snug.

DO NOT USE THE STRAINER THAT COMES WITH THE WALBRO! sorry for the caps but make sure not to. lol Use a factory one or your old one depending on your situation. New one always recommended of course. The reason I say this is because the walbro sock is small and will not pick up right after half a tank and will stop picking up after a quarter of a tank. Needless to say it will cause problems.
Does anyone have pictures of what ones it negative and the one that is positive? I just got mine and I have it out but I’m worried about doing it now. What happens if you get them backwards? Some pictures would be nice on what wires to cut. Thanks
