Dan, the impression I had was that you dropped off the face of the earth while you owed someone money. The right thing to do would have been to bounce or decline the payment back to the original sender through PayPal. That said, I’m glad you didn’t, because it gave me an avenue to collect the money that was owed.

myfutureself: if I was you, I’d be happy you saw ANY of the money without the need for legal action… chasing him down for 25$ seems to be FAR more work than it’s worth… you drive a lotus, you’re obviously not strapped for money. I know it comes down to principle, but it also comes down to a person’s time being worth more than a financial gain.
I don’t think he’s going to make me chase him for $25.
And yeah, Brian and I are both lucky this didn’t have to go further than it did. I don’t need $600. But I also don’t need a reputation as someone who can be crapped on without serious consequences.

I’ve been following this thread and I think it should be left up. Also there is very little info from MyFutureSelfInMe (no link to sale or dispute thread) on brian349’s feedback page. I think it should be left up there and if people want to sell to Brian in the future they should be able to read this thread and make their own decision. If the feedback is taken away or the thread is deleted I agree with redlineaz that the whole point of the feedback system is invalidated. Can someone who leaves feedback alter what they have left? “STOLE MY ENGINE” is all that’s up there now, and this is not quite right, either this thread should be linked or a full explanation should be left in feedback…
