-SKunk 2 Manifold

-3" SRI
-2.5" exhaust w/ test pipe and stock tips
-CTR Intake Cam
-GSR YS1 Trans
-ACT Clutch w/ ITR flywheel

i’m going with a JDM B18C (SIR-G) but its going to get some RS Machine JDM ITR replica pistons, probably some Skunk2 Stage 2 or 3’s with cam gears, to get it running strong. as well as a Skunk2 Pro Series intake manifold, and perhaps a toda header. not sure which header yet. also, i’ll be spending the extra money for the trans with LSD :ohyeah:

i figure, if i’m going to be spending more than 3K on anything for my car, i might as well go all out and get the absolute best i can get for it. the reason i’m not getting a type-r though, is because for just a few hundred more (after all is said and done) i’ll have a GS-R motor that would kill that type-r.

i’m ordering a Greddy SP2 exhaust either next week or the week after (cash permitting)

have you ever heard the SP2 on a VTEC integra, dan? i’ve only heard it on LS’s. i’ve heard the SP2 on DC GS-R’s but the low cam sounded terrible, and the high cam sounded even worse. didn’t sound very good on the car i heard it from. but i’ve also heard the SP2 on a DA and a DC (both non vtec) and they sounded very different. i’d like to know what the sound would be like on a VTEC powered DA.

I should have noticed, your 60ft time is about the same as an old man in a wheelchair…lol. At least you got alot better.

Went to the track today in my ls. Not real great conditions because it had rained the whole week. I managed a 15.5@88 with a 2.2 60’. If someone would like i’ll try and get my slip up.

try and aim for 2.2’s on street tires

  • are u just reving up ur motor to 4 grand and dumping the clutch?

  • try launching at around 3-4 and feathering out the clutch till you feel it start to get traction

  • dont drop your revs or you will bog out

  • dont rev to fast or ull get wheel hop

when u get the perfrect lauch ull feel ur car sort of skim smoothly (if that makes sense) on the tarmac then get traction and ur gone

ill try and get some video of my friend who is an good driver he usually hits 2.1’s on street rubber and the odd 2.0 in his da9
