washers as spacers...

last night i put on a set of 91 crx Si’s…the rims scrape the calipers…of course…so i was wondering…i dont have a grinder to shave the calipers so i was thinking of going to home depot…or local hardware store…and buy some washers to put in between the rim and rotor…i figure it will have the same affect as a spacer…

should i or should i not…this is just a temp til i get rims that can clear the caliper…

It will work. make sure that you have enought thread showing on the stud to put the lug nut on. It needs to go better that 3/4 way throught the nut.

i think 1 or 2 on each stud should work…thanx…

between the rim and the rotor? would the wheel still be centered on the little flange that kind of fits in the center of the wheel?

tried it and it rolls fine…
