Water in front driver side corner light

My front driver side corner light (next to main headlight assembly) was half full of water (mostly in the clear section of the assembly, a little in the amber section). I took it out and emptied the water and left it out to air dry. The light bulb in the clear section was dead and had a greenish muck where it connects to the gray socket. When I removed the corner light the bulb in the amber section still worked.

After letting things dry and changing the bulb in the clear section, it still didn’t work. Shortly after this, the amber bulb failed to work. I recently changed both and neither would light up.

Are the gray sockets where the bulbs screw in fryed? When installing the bulbs I made sure not to touch them with my hands.

Anyone else have this water problem? I can’t tell how it gets in and now I have a nonfunctioning driver side corner light assembly.

Do you have a multimeter or test light?:hmm: 94

No. Which should I get? I assume Home Depot or PepBoys sells them…
