noticed a fair size puddle accumulating in the foot well, behind the drivers seat. i’m thinking quarter glass seal. won’t know until i pull the interior and run a hose over everything though. anybody who has had a similar problem? input please
I would look at the tail light gaskets or the moon roof drain plugs. That would be the first things to leak man.
Is the front carpet on the driver side wet? do you park on an incline?
I had a similar problem in my DB8. I Actually had a couple of problems.

There was a rubber gasket that lost its seal in the sunroof which was allowing the water to run off the headliner down the interior panels and then puddle up in the floor.

I had a bad tail light gasket that was allowing water to come in and puddle up in the base of the trunk and when I would brake, it would cause the water to go forward over the hump where the rear seats were and saturate the rear seats.
Here are my questions:
-
Is there any leaking in the hatch or trunk?
-
Are the back seats wet on the base?
-
Is there any rust along the rear window? What about any weather stripping around the door and window?
it’s not parked on an incline, but i did notice now that the water is starting to make its way to the drivers foot well. pretty sure that is just overflow from the behind the seat. it was dry in the front before while the back was wet.
i don’t think it’s the sunroof drain or taillight gaskets as the trunk is dry. no signs of water from the headliner either. besides that, i actually pulled the sunroof drains not all that long ago and cleared them. i know sometimes they will come out of their inserts in the floor and end up draining all over the floor, but, as i said, trunk is dry. i think i’ll just have to pull the trim on that side and hose it down. was just wondering if it were common for the quarter glass seals to leak. i know they are on some vehicles.
maybe leaking from the quarter molding though.
as always, really appreciate the input.

pulled every piece of trim on this car for the paint job. not an ounce anywhere
I highly doubt its the quarter window sealant thats leaking. chances are greater its leaking through the door/window seal
pulling the trim and watching as someone sprays the car is a great idea and probably would be the next step that I would take.
ye, maybe the drain holes at the bottom of the door are clogged. never heard of the quarter glass leaking on these cars myself
found it. quarter glass. lol
rofl. Good guesstimation in the first place, dude.
