Water leak found... need rubber plug???

ok guys I recently found that I had a lake in to trunk of my car and really didnt know where it was coming from until today when I ripped all my rear interior out and what I found out is there are two small holes (one on each side right below the pressure vents in the trunk) plugged up with a rubber plug of some sort and I only had the driver side one in. The other one must have fallen out some time ago… does anyone have a part number or know a place I can go to get one of these plugs? is like a 3/4" plug but none of the auto part stores around here carry plugs they only carry gromets…

no one??? huh!!!

home depot carries white plastic plugs, i used them for my third brake and antennae delete.

oh ok man. I thought about going there but I actually bought them off a g2ic member that was parting a few cars… I looked at all the oem acura/honda part websites and couldnt find what I was looking for and I didnt want to go to my acura dealership for them to look at me like I was crazy when I know im sane enough to not need steady medication lol so I just bough a used one

I’m pretty sure you are not getting water in by those holes. The cause is porbably your tail light gaskets.

while you have the inside tore apart double check the sun roof drain hoses, the driver side is a thick clear hose, driver side is thinner and a little harder to get to because of the antenna.
check to make sure water is flowing freely through the hoses and out of the car without leaking inside.

they are supposed to plug into the black rubber thing you can see in one of your pics, next to the vent.
first picture, top left corner. kind of dark but i can see it.

I would check that, get new stoppers for the holes and replace the tail light gaskets if you have the cash, or see if it still leaks before doing it.
i did mine with the black foam rolls of weather strip from home depot and it doesn’t leak, you can see what i used in the pic. just make sure the 2 ends come together at the bottom (not the top) or it will probably still leak.
