im having a water leak on the passenger floor.
its unlike the cowl one which i know how to fix. it seems that if i have the ac on and drive around for a while and if i take sharp left turns LOTS of water will come flying out of the hole on the bottom of the blower motor. (the hole is from water damage from the wiper cowl leak.)
my guess is that a/c drain tube is some how clogged. this is because when i usually park there is a puddle of water from the a/c. but now there is no longer one.
i even found the drain tube for the a/c and made sure it was clear but nothing changed. so it may be that the clog is before the drain tube…
please help.
uhh its water. its really cold water. smells like water and tastes like water. it would be a hot summer day over here and that water would still be pretty cool.
edit: okay im starting to think it might be my evaporator drain tube… since its only when the a/c is on. so does anyone know where i can locate this tube?
if you jack your car up, put it on stands.
i believe you can see it by getting under the car, firewall, near the center. should be a black tube that is attached to the firewall. maybe try getting an air compressor, or a air can if you dont have a compressor, and blow air into the hole. pressurize it so whatever may be stuck, goes upwards, and possibly has a chance of falling through the hole in smaller particles.
becareful, make sure to wear goggles / safety glasses / face shield when doing this so you dont get anything in your eyes

other way would be to take apart the air ducting system, remove some panels, and then look for the drain hole from the inside & clean it through from there.
but from under, is the easiest way to check that route
yeah thanks, i used the air compressor from the drain tube under the car and it seemed to clear whatever was stuck in it and water started to flow out. so for now it seems to be working again.
