Okay, yah I know there’s a teg tip on it, but I have a question about them.
1: Sunroof drain hoses that run down each side to rear corners can come out of their drain plug ends. Look behind the inner side panels, you’ll see.
3: Power antennae drain.
These 2 confuse me. #1) I don’t have a sunroof, but I have my interior gutted out and I noticed that I do have a little tube on the driver side of my car. It was just laying there when I pulled the interior out, I don’t know where it goes or where it came from, would my car have a drain even though there’s no sunroof? Where would this tube be draining from?
#3) I don’t get it. Where would the antenna get water and how do I get to the “drain” for this puppy? When I find it what do I do to it? Help me plzthx~

that little tube on the driver’s side… it’s near the left rear right? that’s the antennae drain. there should be a rubber slot for it there. make sure it’s not plugged up though. also, there should be a rear drain in the back (where you’re jack used to be) i heard that hole gets plugged up as well. this should drain to some small holes down near the tow hook below your rear lisence plate. unplug it w/ some high pressure air.
here’s a picture of my antennae motor (i took it out)… since the seal of your antenna isn’t perfect, there is a tube that drains any water that may get in.
Ahhh… thanks… that clears things up. Do you think if that tube isn’t connected it would create a lake in the rear of my car?
(I knew about the drains in the rear, and checked them. They work fine but I still don’t think there should be some preventive measure taken before the lake actually gathers. I think I need a pet beaver.
My car is generic, no motor. It just has a black pipe thing that the antenna sits in I guess, the tube doesn’t fit around it or inside of it so I dunno wtf it’s doing. There is a drain for it, and the tube does seem to have gone there at one point but I can’t figure out how or where.
