i was washing my engine bay out then about a week later i noticed my car was having problems. so i pulled out the plugs and attempted to let the water evaporate, but i dont think its working too well. does anyone have any better ideas?
So do you still have the water in the spark plug holes??
The best thing to do after washing your engine is to leave the spark plugs in, but pull the wires off and spray out the holes with a compressor to get all the water out.
The last time I washed my engine I got water around my plugs too. What I did was I got Q-tips and stuck them down there to soak up the water and stuff that was in there. It worked great, and I have had no problems since!
ill try that, thanks
does anyone know if getting water in there like that can hurt my car?
