quick vid i put together when I took my 91 teg out to watkins glen w/ my local ny bmw cca club.
car only has bushing kit, ASR sway bar, f2 coilovers, Exedy clutch kit and RSRexhaust
real momentum car (no HP) but a blast to drive and learn on
by the 2nd day i had the track down but still need to work on the last and 1st turn( most of the track is basically late apex!!)
man that looks like awesome fun. i wish we had something like that down my way.
yeah well unfortunately that track is about 5hrs from me. But myself and the club left Sunday morning, it gave a good amount of time for us to check into the hotel, unpack,change tires, and eat relax for the 2 day track beatdowns
What bmw club did you run with?
I’ve done some auto-x events with the Genesse Valley Chapter in NY.
My goal is to get to the glen within the next year or so with my EF.
What did the weekend run you for track fees and overall expense?
local for me is the NY metro bmw club. but this event we also linked up w/ the patroon chapter. I paid pretty early for the event so i caught the early deadline so i think it ran me like $395.00
worth every penny:)
oh and the hotel was $50 a night which i split w/ one of my friends that came along for the ride.
food was hard to determine. one night i ate w/ the club at a nice restaurant which they covered.
