does anyone have any background with them? from reading their ads and looking at their prices, they make some pretty big claims. with what theyre asking for their parts i would think that maybe theyre worth it…
any input? im thinking about buying one of their filters…
Isn’t Weapon R a ricer brand? Some of their intakes look hideous with sharp spike looking things covering the filter.
Last I knew, WeaponR was right on track with APC and Ractive. But then again, piping is piping… as long as the bends are decent, the intake tube isn’t a huge deal. The key is going to be a good filter.
yeah, honestly. Weapon R is just another “tacky” brand.
If you want a cheap “name” intake, get it and just buy a better Air Filter. That’s really all they are in the market with, anyway, isn’t it? Intakes? Maybe short shifters and other non-important stuff.
If you’re on a budget and don’t really mind, then its up to you. But don’t expect “Oohs and Ahh’s” when you pop your hood.

Reminds me of the “Intake Supercharger” that costs like $1000 and produces 50+ HP’s.
All it is a freakin small electric fan that connects in front of your intake “sucking in more air” thus giving you MaD TyTe JDm poWeR… lol

back in 01-03 era, weapon R was garbage. i cant tell you anything about it now, as i never gave them a solid look before.

suck filters into their intake? WHAT???
Apparently he is saying their filters don’t hold up very well… the filament came apart and was sucked into a friends’ motor. I’ve heard the same type of problem with Fram oil filters…
But bottom line is, the general concensus is that WeaponR did, and still does blow.
I’ve only had experience with their Secret Weapon intake. I really liked it and the filter held up really well.
what about the Weapon R racing seat rails ? anyone has them ?
