Quite literally! Camaros are probably my least favorite cars, especially that body style and down. The newer ones are ok, and late 60’s are  However, they are hogs, so I can’t say anything about that!
I’m not a Chevy fan really but the LS1 is a hell of a motor. I remember being at the strip in 2000 and seeing Trans Ams tear down the strip running like 13s or something crazy and all they had was a K&N drop in.
lol, yeah. One of my friends had an LS1 w/ 150 shot of nos and he just about ripped off his bumper, or maybe it was his quarter panel? Either way, it had way too much power for the street tires he had on there. It was pretty funny actually. I think he only ran high 12’s/13’s because of it. He also had a very fixed up RX7 (rotary FTL) but it was the fasted car I have ever been in. I got cold chills when he took off and his tires literally skipped across the pavement and I was thrown back into my seat. Nuts! /ramble off.
His best time at the track was 12.1 w/ minimal mods: headers, cam, exhaust, drag radials. He hasn’t actually sprayed it yet but it’s setup for a 250 shot (I think).
It has the one thing every Honda lacks: torque. It’s quite beastly. It’s big, it’s loud, and it’s obnoxious. I love it.
Lookin’ good as usual. That last pic is amazing. It looks like a shot that would be in a mag. It just makes me want a new car that much more. Man it must be nice! (minus the paymets).
I haven’t been up to much lately. I did swap out the old fluids with the old standbys. I also added a few more engine grounds yesterday. I ordered a couple new pieces for the car on Friday and one already came in yesterday! Summit Racing’s shipping ftw. More pics once I get it installed, perhaps Monday or Tuesday. The other piece will probably take a week or so from Cali (weksos).
Sorry for this noob question but I’m trying to learn as much as I can about, well everything. What is the benefit of adding more grounds to the engine?
