I have yet to hear anything negative about them. I’ve ordered multiple things from them in the past with no complaints. Steve is a great guy and I wouldn’t buy another engine from anyone else.
The pics on the first page show how clean the swap was. The harness was fully intact and not cut at all.

Thanks guys. The swap is just a B16A. I paid about $1600 for everything shipped. Not a bad price, and they stand behind their engines 100% with their start-up warranty. That’s not something I really came across when searching for places to purchase the swap.
why is your driverside headlight so yellow?
I’m not sure. It looks like a reddish tinge to me. My buddies’ red S2K and 240SX were parked in front of my car now that I think about it. :shrug:

Bearing in the alternator started making noise, so I replaced the alternator today. Took off the DC sides due to an unfortunate incident with the drive-thru curb yesterday. :bang:
Leaving for IA in less than a week. Got a few things left to do before then.

Well…
The new-reman alternator I picked up last Friday already took a shit on me last night. Once the engine reached 3.5k rpm the interior/exterior lighting and the blower would surge. I hooked up a voltmeter on the battery. It showed 12.5v engine off, 13.5-14.5v at idle to 3k rpm, and once it reached 3.5k rpm it would go all the way up to 18.5v! Needless to say, the voltage regulator wasn’t regulating dick. :shock:
I’ve got to bust ass to get it replaced tomorrow morning before leaving for IA at 10:30 am.
I’ll get pics of everything at the show. I know of a few other DA’s that will be there.
