Haha. I called him a few times at the show and we still never met up.
I wish that we’d gone back on Sunday but we were tapped out already and just wanted to get the drive home over with.
Haven’t done too much work on the DA lately. I did however retrofit my A/C to R-134a within the last couple of weeks. Replaced the receiver/drier in the process as well as the valve cores on high/low sides. No leaks to speak of thus far.
I’m also in the process of refinishing a set of steelies and wheel covers to roll on once the weather turns cold again.
I’ll try to remember to take pics when I’m done.

Also, my home computer was recently struck by lightning. I’m trying to get it fixed but I’m not sure if that will be possible. If not, I just lost all of my photos aside from the ones saved to my flickr. :argh:

It was a freak thing. Lightning struck right outside the house. There were (3) computers in the house. The two that were powered on at the time were toast. The third was off and was spared. All (3) were plugged into surge protectors too. Right now I’m looking to see if I can just get the HDD contents copied to my new laptop. We’ll see how that goes.
you have one clean ass DA, good luck with the computer situation also. i just had my laptop crash on me two weeks ago. i lost everything, all my photos and even more of a hurt my f**kin music. (over 75gigs of music)

Well I luckily just dodged that bullet. Today I disconnected the HDD from my desktop and connected it to another working computer and I was able to copy all of my pictures and documents to an external HDD. Fortunately, I had all of my music already stored to the external HDD.
I’m in the process of copying all of the files from the external HDD to my laptop. I guess I got lucky after all! :whew:
yea i had most of my music saved externally, but all my new shit and the music my brother and i had been working got erased. luckily he had it saved to his.
That sucks.
its all good, i just have to try and source all the CDs they were from, im too lazy to download. i play drums and ive got like 6years of music on that computer, so looks like i’ll probably be bitten by the downloading bug soon even though i hate doing that to the artist that makes the music.
but i guess if youve bought it once before its not too bad on them right?:shrug:
