When ever i am backing up and press on the brakes there is a loud clicking sound, one when i press the pedal and one when i let off. its only when im backing and it sounds like its coming fom the front end i.e. wheel area. also going over speed bumps or just down a bumpy road there is a familiar sound from the front end. it sounds like something is loose or something. anyone ever had this problem?
Brake pads
Check your brake pads, since the noise usually occurs when you’re braking and backing up that would mean your pads are worn down the warning indicator. If you need help checking that out just let me know.
It’s probally not your pads. The indicators start to squeel, not click. Do you have a camber kit? If so this can be loose. Jack the front up and wiggle the wheel around. Process of elimination
