I searched and everyone else’s problem was the pedal sticking or not being pressurized or something. Here is the thing with mine: you know how the friction point is that area of a couple inches of really hard stiffness, then yuo get the last few before the floor that are a lot lighter? When I press the pedal in (and it seems only when I press it in) right after that stiffness it makes a noise, not very loud, and it feels weird, almost like “sticking” or harder to press, but not that much. The car gets into gear and goes fine so it’s not really causing any problems yet, but I was wondering if I should get a new cable or something.
Where is the noise coming from?
If it’s coming from the pedal I would check the two-pronged spring that is attached to the pedal. If it’s coming from the engine bay I would suspect a bearing.
From what I can tell by myself, it’s the pedal. Obviously I can’t stand outside the bay and press the pedal at the same time but it does sound like the pedal. I looked under it for the spring, but I couldn’t see it…I sprayed some PB Blaster up in there anywhere I could and the pedal does move slightly easier but the sound is still there…maybe I missed it lol
Ok so today the pedal felt smooth again and fine after I sprayed everything I could, then it started doing it again after a while…I could spray it again but I suspect it’ll creak again…what is going on?
