Ive done a search. but i not getting the info i needed. I jsut finished doing my swap. Im 100% sure that i installed the throw-out bearing and installed the clutch correctly. The car is on jackstands with no axles in it. i started the car. and the motor runs smooth. But the weird thing is i can shift and go through the gears without depressing the clutch? wouldnt it grind while the motor is running or wont go into gear? im thinking its the clutch adjustment. There is play on the top and little tension on the bottomof the pedal, and when i try to shift gears pressing the clutch it seems like the clutch dont seem to feel like is grabbing? am i dummy or im just totally lost? something go wrong here or i jsut need to adjust the clutch cable?.
You sure you installed the clutch disc? Just kidding. Seriously though, the two things to check is if they stepped your flywheel properly and your clutch cable adjustment. Your clutch cable may be “stuck”. Reach down and grab your TO Bearing release arm on the transmission. You should be able to pull it up approximately 1-3mm before it stops. If you can’t pull it up at all, your clutch cable is too tight. Loosen it until you have 1-3mm of free play. Best of luck.

i am positive that the clutch and everything is insatalled correctly. i jsut hope there is nothing wrong with my tranny or clutch. i did get my flywheel resurfaced. but i dont think that has nothing to do with it. its raining out and my garage is full of crap ill jsut have to wait till it gets sunny out unless i get realyl crazy and jsut get wet out there. ill try what you said thanks. hows your car doing? ive seen videos of that thing its pretty sick…
ok i tried pulling it up it goes all the way up…weird>? oh when i did that i heard a clunk noise is that normal>? it sounded like the to bearing hitting the cluctch the fin part… i think man i dont wanna take that heavy thing apart again…

did you put that spring back onto the fork, does your clutch pedal go all the way to the floor and stay their?
