this morning was the first morning that temperature dropped below 0c and car would not start. wouldn’t turn over but still had full power(stereo and subs were going) just wouldn’t turn over. Managed to get it started when I kept trying it (was just clicking like it was the starter going). but then let the motor warm up and now starts everything without a problem…any ideals?
one of my roommates said something about mold on the start gears…in the cold freezing it so it couldn’t move…is this possible?
ill see if it does it again tomorrow morning…:S…
sorry about posting a no start issue but couldn’t find anything that might cause this problem…
shit. sorry, just re read the post. wouldn’t be the fitv. try jumping the starter directly next time you have this issue. if it still doesn’t go, the starter/solenoid is the problem

did you by any chance change the temp sensor? i remember something exactly like this happened, because i had replaced one, ended up using one from the junkyard.
i have same problems with mine, got it checked up over at firestone said that i need a new battery cause battery wont start if its below a certain degree, hope this help?
NP Welfare…I made a bunch of edits to the post…It was early and I wasn’t fully awake when I originally posted…LOL…will try to jump the starter directly next time…
Isaac…change the temp sensor?..do you mean you changed it then got the prob or you changed it to fix prob?..sorry just a little confuzled…
Cheebang…I pretty sure its not the battery but I gotta head to the shop to get my winters mounted ill get them to test it…:S…
yeah i replaced one with a new one, because my original one was reading in the red when temperature underhood was at 190, so i bought one and it acted up just like you are describing it, and i went to a junkyard and took one from a prelube or another integra or something and started right up no problems
hasn’t done it since…wondering if it is possible that th started froze in the cold weather???..it was raining the night before when I drove home…don’t know if this is possible…sooo confused…:S
