My driver side window regulator is most likely shot after some car thieves forced the window down far enough to open the door but couldn’t find my kill switch. Problem is on that side the window rolls almost all the way up and right before it gets to the top I feel a skip tooth type feeling and the window drops a little bit lower. That was a few months ago and I bring it up now because my passenger side window doesnt work. The handle moves around and stops and wont budge the window at all. I just happened to leave my windows down last night and when I woke up, that window did not work at all. It feels like it is off track but I dont have any tools near me for a few days to fix it if it is so I am posting here to get idea’s to tackle the problem.
For the record, I replaced both of my window regulators. Passenger just froze and the drivers kept skipping.
Tahke the door panel off and remove the plastic lining to check. On mine my gear on the regulator had 4 missing teeth!! So went to junkyard and picked one up 
26 bucks but now it works.
