Weird rattle at 4000+ RPM

When my 93 teg RS goes above 4000+ RPM it makes a rattling noise, I can feel the rattle in the shifter. It doesn’t make the noise till I start deaccelerating, it’s fine as long as I keep the gas floored. Any help is apreciatied :argh:

did you just put in a short shifter with stabilizer bushing?

Nope, so far the car has all stock internals (Except Radiator).

Sounds exactly like your shifter bushings. you can replace them with new ones or you can grease the existing nut and bushings and they should be fine.
