Hey guys,
I did a search and found a couple of answers to my problems.
Just to give you a back ground. I have the following new or just recently replaced:
DC Sports SS 4-2-1 headers
alternator
AEM power pulleys
AEM cam gears
PCV
Water pump
The grounds look good.
and few other things I can’t remember at this time.
I know when I did a search a member had said that the AEM power pulleys caused him to stall, I am still not sure about that one.
My problem is this. After my car warms up, for the next few miles the cars tach will dip down and the car will stall. I can give it gas and the problem goes away as long as I give it gas. But after the few mile mark the cars RPM is a little low, but it stays running. I think the intake and exhaust cam gear adjustment in causeing this to happen. I believe I have it set to: Intake retard 5 and the Exhaust advanced 7. What do you Gen2 experts think. Sorry, I am still a beginner. Any help would be helpfull. Thanks again.

I see two problems right now…
The first of which is your cam gear settings. Why did you adjust them that much?? What motor do you have, LS or VTEC??
There is absolutely no reason to have them adjusted that much, especially for daily driving.
You need to set those back to 0 until you learn a little more about adjusting cams.
The second thing that I caught is that you are using the underdrive pulleys. The alternator pulley will cause a problem kinda like that too. At lower rpm’s, the alternator will not be spinning fast enough to generate enough power to run your car, especially if you have something like a big amp hooked up. Stick with the stock pulleys, your car will like you much more with them.
Later,
