quarta time
well, i had a 92 LS with a JDM B18B, shitty tires, slippin clutch, i/h/e, and i was pulling 2.4 60’s and still busting 15.4’s and 15.3’s. and my 1/8th time ranged anywhere from 10 flat to 10.3.
My auto was in the 18’s and it missshifted…seriously though, going 2-3 there was a 2 second pause where it didnt grab at all. Haha best experience at the track evar. 
I dont know, I ran that time on a bad Left front axel…might be reason
How in the hell are you guys pulling such fast times? I pulled 15.1 at 95 mph, witha 2.3 60ft…i am so freaking pissed! this is the reason why im getting rid of it…
why are you so mad?? i ran a 15.8 on my stock motor with intake header, cat, and cat back. not to mention i also had a slipping clutch (must be common 
)

bump for my freak teg! It ran 14.9 more than once. Its just a freak!! 
still waiting for evidence of your ls motor that somehow w/ 70 less hp and a worse tranny can run what a type-r runs…?
It’s possible. I mean I ran a 15.4@ 88Mph with only cut-off muffler. It was done at FULL weight too… spare, jack and all. Ac belt there and power steering belt there. I also had a really bad slipping clutch and bald tires.
Only pulled a 2.232 60’ on that run. Look at his 60’ time… it’s a 2.1xx, and only trapped 2Mph more than me. with his mods and weight reduction… it is very possible.
For another example… I went to atco raceway and ran my buddies 01’ celica GT 5-Speed there. His car is all stock except unbolted muffler and we took out the spare tire. Car is rated at a 15.8(GT) and 15.3(GTS). I wound up running a best of 15.15@ 90Mph on a 2.232 60’. If Icould have pulled a 2.1xx 60’… that car would have hit 14.9 as well.
Like I said… it is VERY possible.
VERY possible, type r’s are slow. and so are 1990-1991 tegs. i just scooped up another DA(a 91 LS) and its soooo slow. i miss my GSR civic oupe now 
DX, i think youre the only one with a slow 91. ive raced many 92-93 g2s, and have rarely lost. i raced a 92 g2 yesterday, LEGALLY, and he had stripped interior and axleback exhaust. all i have is catback and cai. pulled 2-3 cars on him. point is, its not a slow car, just a slow driver. dont blame your g2.

14s in a ls, with catback, headers, intake is possible. ill take his word. must be a good driver.
thank u neuspeedracer, it has been done and i am hoping to get it into the mid 14’s by just doing a new clutch,flywheel and alittle more weight reduction.

i have raced my car in portland, oregon with my stock ass ls motor…no intake/ex/header nothing and i ran 15.3 1/4 mi then a month later i ran it in cali and ran a 15 flat and in portland i took out the interior and jack and spare in cali. i had my travel stuff in the back…people are forgetting that elevation plays a huge part…i think…
