I have always loved my CXRacing radiator that I bought off ebay last year. For around $125 shipped it is about your best deal compared to the Mishimoto and Fluidyne. It is about the same size as the fluidyne and runs 1.1 bar pressure.
The only problem seems to lie within the ones that have the plastic drain plugs so make sure you specify you want the metal one.
Make sure you go thru every part of your cooling system before installing one. I did the thermostat with an OEM 170 degree one, new upper and lower hose and fan switch. Also replace your other hoses and the heater hoses too.
Engine coolant has ways of finding weaknesses in a system so do it right.
running my cxracing for around a year now also…
Not honda related but hey its a good reference.
Also I’ve heard pretty good stuff about mishimoto. Usually when a company wants to come up in the market they focus on building a good reputation by really putting some work into their items.
I wouldn’t run a CXRacing, I’m not a fan of the warranty. If it dies, then you have nothing to go back to the manufacturer for… that’s if you can get a hold of the manufacturer.
Let me know if you have any questions for me. We offer a lifetime warranty!
thanks for the comments guys. i was leaning towards a fluidyne rad. but i’d consider other name brands. Mishimoto… what would you charge for your Performance Aluminum Radiator in cdn dollars, and do you ship to Canada? thanks.

Yes, we do ship to Canada. You would go through our website to place an order, find an authorized eBay seller to ship to you, or contact one of our distributors here.
Let me know if you have any additional questions!
i have a 94+ integra full aluminum race rad which came with fan’s and a rad cap for $250 (visteon)
^^^ ic, but i dont think that a 94+ rad fits on G2s does it?
how much would you want for this set up with shipping to canada? why are you selling it? looks like a good set up. are you willing to throw in the custom brackets for it too?
I never said i was selling it. You asked what aftermarket radiators we have or recommend. I was showing you what I have and recommend.
i got a cxracing 3 core civic half radiator for my boosted car. I used to have a stock honda civic half radiator but my car would over heat fast. Now my car stays nice and cool.
Im using a koyo radiator with k-tuned slim fans, a samco lower hose and k-tuned upper hose. Stock thermostat and mugen cap. Kick ass setup…
I have the Mishimoto with some 12’ slim fans (unknown brand) worked fine until the plastic drain plug broke on me. Left me stranded for a week. I called Mishimoto and told them about it and they sent me out a nice metal drain plug that has been fine ever since. Their customer support is great and the actual radiator seems good for the price. I would recommend it, if you get one with a plastic drain plug, DO NOT use it. Replace it with a metal drain plug, after that you’re fine.
Glad to hear that we took care of you. If this leaky drain plug was replaced by us recently, I was the one who probably shipped it out to you.
By the way, all of our radiators now come with the magnetic metal drain plug. The plastic plugs have been phased out entirely.
I run a half size radiator from Spoolin Performance and it works great.
