I have some camber issues to address on my 93 da9 and I was wondering if anyone has used any good front camber kits, such as ingalls, progress, or anything else except Ebay no names.
be warned : you’ll be told to search.
I just ordered a set of SPC extremes off of ebay today. I did a what turned out to be an expensive oil change today. To get better access to the drain plug and filter, I usually take the driver’s tire off. When I did this today, to my shock I found that the insides were worn right down to the point that you can see the steel belt. I never noticed it before because I have never had the wheels turned enough to see that part of the thread. The part of the tires that I do normally see though looked fine. I meant to get a camber kit sooner, but I’ve been putting it off for some time now thinking that I’d be okay for a bit longer :bang: .
I can’t tell you which camber kit you need unless you post saying HOW MUCH negative camber you have.
Have you gotten an alignment? If so post the specs (if not shame on you).
The camber on the front left is at -3.7 degrees and on the right is at -3.1 degrees
Better get those camber kits soon. My two fronts are at roughly -2 degrees camber/0 toe and look what happened after only 2 seasons of summer driving :
i remember those days. spc does the job right. but if your cheap get on ebay
There’s a couple threads floating around that say you can use the 92-95 civic/94-01 integra skunk2 adjustable control arm camber kit. you just switch the left/right sides. im going down to a shop tonight and buying mine, i would suggest this but do not hold me to this.
here’s that thread

as for the rear, you can simply use longer bolts and some washer to push the compensator arm out… there’s also adjustable compensator arms, like what i use.
:search: but i do like having my SPC ball joints in the front.
I suggest you don’t use camber kits at all. The control arm will extend too far out if you max it. It will hit the shock tower. But that’s your own choice.
If you listen to me, make sure you set your toe right and rotate your tires every 3k.
Just stay away from progress camber kits unless you have a minor drop. I have their springs plus camber kit and it still kills my tires. I also had a few alignments just to see if it was the dealership screwing me over.

You’d better recheck your toe. -2 degrees camber won’t do that to tires by itself.
I would definately get the SPC ball joints. there great. I’ve tried ingalls and the bushing broke on me after a couple years, and left my fronts out of adjustment. SPC since then and I’ve been happy
Screw some junky ass offset ball joints. Spend a few more bucks and get the DC UCA’s fron skunk2.

are you kidding me? you actually think Skunk2 camber kits are better? I hope your kidding. Skunk 2 makes great products but there not great at everything!!
I looked for sh*t on SPC and I could find nothing on the ball joints, but none the less, theres probably some out there. no product is perfect or is it?
Yes i think an entire adjustable upper control arm is far better then an offset ball joint, if you dont, then you quite possibly retarded. And thats any brand UCA at that, not necessarily just skunk2. Offset balljoints are just a little sketchy.
what company makes a GOOD adjustable arm, with NO flaws for our car? I’m looking for anything that will back your claim, other than your word.
OH yeah and it’s a adjustable ball joint, not a Offset like you say!!
Dude, the SPC kit IS a offset balljoint. And adjustable one at that. I bought the SPC extreme kit. I sold it and decided to go with the skunk2 UCA’s. Im not saying the SPC kit is terrible, but for a few more bucks, you can have an ENTIRE UCA that in my opinion is far superior to the SPC kit. As far as the problems people have had with the skunk2 UCA’s, there are remedies for all of them. Mine hasn’t bottomed out, the bolts haven’t fell out, and overall, im very happy with them. Thats my personal experience. And yes i have with my own eyes seen an SPC kit fail, nothing is perfect. Just cause you can’t find a thread on HT about them, doesn’t mean they are perfect.
Vision makes an upper A-arm kit that works well (I think it’s vision…back me up on this, Nino).
They work well if you want additional negative camber. Mine are at the most positive setting and I have over 3.5 degrees of negative camber. The Vision UCAs were made for race cars, not street cars.
