I have a really bumpy idle it shudders at low RPM’s under full throttle. The ECU says code 1 when I start. I have a new O2 sensor, spark plugs/wires, cap & rotor. What should I do?

Thanks alot.
Is that all? You think viagra would work? I guess I’ll add it to my gas tank.
go to acura and ask what code 1 is…
code 1 is oxygen sensor
There was a similar tread not long ago… Code 1 is the O2 sensor, but since you replaced it, it’s mostly not the problem. but I would check the wiring, maybe something got disconnected?
have u tried reseting the ecu? pull the ecu fuse for 5 mins. start and let it idle for 10mins.
code 1 gets thrown up alot b/c anything that alters the fuel delivery (vac. leak ,bad map) shows up in the 02 sensor and a code is put up . it could even be a miss in a cyl. A miss would cause our cars to run rich b/c the oxygen wouldn’t be burnt up in the combustion chamber and the 02 would see that as an extreme lean condition. try clearing the codes out drive it through a cycle ( a good wide open throttle shot, steady cruise , decel w/o hittin gas for 5sec. any stop and go traffic you’ll get this ) then recheck codes…
Hey, I have tried resetting the ECU numerous times and I’ve probably put on almost 1000 miles since this first started happening so I doubt any more procedures will work without first fixing the source. Thanks for the fuel delivery explaination, it makes a lot of sinse. I put a can of STP injector/carb cleaner but it made it run worse. I just did that so it might clear up after I drive it a while. How can I check for a vacuum leak?? I’ll look into the map sensor too. Thanks a lot guys…
