ok bringing my car to to get a alignment and wanted to know where i should set chamber this i a street car only drive when its nice i want it to handel good i was told -1.5 deg what are ur thoughts thanks
You don’t need to have any degree of CAMBER… Having it set to the oem spec is fine. Proper toe is more important than uber-hella-flush camber.
If you have a track car, then you’ll want a race/track alignment, and your degrees of camber/toe will be set by the alignment tech.
I’m in the same boat. Does anyone have any setting they’ve found work well with a DD setup? And unified, what is exactly is “OEM specs”?
I have no idea what the OEM specification is.
They look it up when you take your car in, and they set it as close to that as possible.
Unless they’re doing something specific (track, auto-x etc).
The amount of camber you can run will depend on your height, suspension bound/rebound, tire size, wheel size etc.
It’s not just a “well Joe ran -3 camber so that’s what I’ll run!” situation.
OEM specs are:
Front: 0 +/- 1 degree
Rear: -0.66 +/- 1 degree
