hey i was wondering whats the best aftermarket clutch to use for a daily driver with some occasionall racing? .:manual: and does anyone have a fidenza flywheel? does that flywheel really make a diffrence? do the revs climb that much quicker?
I cant speak for fidenza but i run a 8lb clutchmasters and a fx100 stage 1 from clutchmaster as well in my daily driver… i have no complaints on my decision… and yes it does make the revs climb much quicker…

for what you want. the exedy stage 1 my self and alot of others on here will stand behind the exedy stage 1. you really dont need anything over that unless you make over i think 245 ft lbs is the torque limit for the exedy stage 1… also with flywheels might want to think about getting one that has the ring gear teeth milled into it and not pressed due to the different expansion and cooling rates between aluminum and steel…
i got a exedy replacement clutch which is like stock and a fidanza 7.5 flywheel, the revs do climb alot quicker but they drop alot quicker 2 so youll shift a little faster than you had 2 before, i would defienately get a fidanza, there fit and finish is great and there cheap
if your like me and unsure about how light of a flywheel you want. i went with a itr flywheel wich is about 4lbs lighter then a stock ls flywheel. it was a nice improvement. but i can tell you go with the 12lb or lighter. but do some research to. ive heard and read different things about the really light flywheels… esp since once its in you gotta live with it for awhile
