I finally have everything setup…3 amps,eq, jbl 10’s , and JVC cd player
and it sounds great! I just can’t figure out which wire is the memory wire for the radio hookup? Im tired of setting my channels everytime i get into the car…so
I read somewhere that its the BLUW/white but i don’t have that wire. This is what I have left the power antenna wire, the red and black wire and a WHITE’blue…any help would help
thanks
Okay since you dont have a BLUE/white, then i suggest testing the White/blue with a dmm or light tester to see if its a constant hot. Your red/black should be your illumination switched 12v(goes on/ off with your headlight switche) and you probably wont use it. If you cant find the +12v constant then get a wire and female spade connector and connect to your untapped 12v constant at the fuse box. If your going to go that route remember to fuse that wire with a fuse that is similar to your headunit current draw.

I suggest getting a harness adapter (maybe $10). This plug will have all the wires labelled and if you need to replace the factory deck for some reason, all you need to do is unplug the aftermarket deck, and plug in the OEM. Cutting that harness can be a hassle down the line – trust me.
As for the wire codes… Look here:
As for the constant 12V wire (aka ‘memory’ wire), look for the blue onw with the white or yellow stripe. The advice above about using a dmm to find the constant 12V is good advice. My suspiscion is that you have the switched ignition +12V wire hooked up to the constant 12V memory lead on your deck and the constant 12V wire connected to the switched lead. Want to test the theory?? Does your deck power up with the key off??
