Could I put stock G3 GSR pistons and rods in my b18a1??? And what compression would I have then?
Thanks
You wouldnt want to put the GSR rods in your car. The LS rods have a longer stroke than the GSR rods…
I think that the GSR pistons would raise your compression to 9.8 or so. Anyone else got an exact number for that??

According to this link, you should be about 9.6 to 1. Check it out.

GSR rods are actually slightly longer than LS rods. IF (hypothetically) you could actually get GSR rods to work on your LS crank, you would GAIN compression ratio. However, the LS crank does have longer stroke (89mm) than the b18c1 crank (87.2mm), so that is why you get more CR with the LS crank. B18c1 pistons are only slighly higher domed than LS pistons (which actually have a negative cc value), so the gains would be weak at best. Look for something bigger, if you’re going to go to the trouble of tearing down the motor… HTH
