Oil in the coolant? I’m thinking head gasket, but we just rebuilt the motor,
b18b bore 20 over and sleeved, running 8.5 compression changed out the pistons and rods. running 310rc injectors, skunk2 intake manifold.
head ported and polished.
head gasket shouldn’t of blown already, i never beat on it, unless its a cheap gasket!
You did have the head resurfaced? Could be maybe there was some corrosion around the channels and its still leaking between the seal, or maybe even a cracked head. Who built your engine? I’d go see him.
whats up bud , i’m the other bol with the red teg, on mildred. i say get that damn pete yack kid and whoop him j/k. sounds like h gasket what type did ya use, if your not blowin any smoke could just be between water jacket and oil passage.
That definately sounds like a head gasket to me. Here are some things to check…
Was the head bolts installed correctly and in the right order and torque steps??
Did the gasket not compress correctly??
Did you get a defective gasket??
I just think that the head was installed wrong.
One more thing… It says you are running 8.5:1 compression but you dont list any means of forced induction on your list of mods… Is there something that your forgetting to tell us??
I took the liberty of moving this thread to the “Integra Help” forum. Try to post in the right forums please.

You need to get a shop manual to see how it is done. There is a sequence that you have to go by when taking the head off and putting it on. These procedures are what keeps the head from warping during install and removal.
The torque steps are 22 lbs/ft for the first step and 61 lbs/ft for the second step. The LS and GSR go by the same steps.
Think of this diagram as your head bolts…
1 2 3 4 5
6 7 8 9 0
The torque sequence is 8, 3, 9, 2, 7, 4, 6, 5, 0, 1.
Remember to torque them down to 22 lbs first and on your second time through make sure they are at 61 lbs.
Oh, I forgot the removal steps…
When removing it, do it in the opposite order of the install steps (starting from outside instead of inside) and go only 1/3 of a turn on each bolt until all of them are loose. That will prevent the head from warping.
