well guy’s i killedmy B18 on my way back from key west this past spring break. Now im puttign in b16 im gettign it for $950.00 ecu trany and complete engine. My question is what else do i need i’m already changing the timing belt, water pump, oil pump, and belt tensinor , spark plugs and wires , what else would i need. Will my axels from my b18a work also im puttign in a 2000 SI fuel pump what else would i need and any other tips?
PS: I tried to serch this first but was left with soem unawsred questions thax guys.
there isn’t anything else that you NEED to do, but somethings you might want to do if you have the $$.
-cam end plug ~$30
-clutch ~$260-500
-lighten flywheel ~$160, or lightweight flywheel $300-$400
the cam end plug is easily changed even with the motor in, so you can do that whenever, its just good to get it out of the way sometimes.
doing the clutch and flywheel now could save you a lot of $$ and/or time down the line. Putting in a clutch now with the motor out is easy, and if you have the $$ I suggest doing it.

i got it from a place close to my hause they import motors from japan. I’m saving tons by gettign it this way as i don’t have to pay for shipping just 5 bucks to put gas in my dad’s toyota pick up and its home. In miami they charge about 400-600 for an install lucky for me i’ve done this before so im also saving money ther.
i would put new radiator hoses when i put my b16 in i blew my upper one.if u do get one get one for a 92-93 gsr cause it’s longer.i think the lower one is the same year as the car .
